With the help of our main sponsors Parley For The Oceans and StepChain, I am so excited to be officially launching the run this Friday 26th July. At 9:30am from Battery Park, N.Y.C, I will be accompanied by friends and fellow runners to kick-off Ocean2Ocean to run for change and take on the space that connects us to our oceans.

There has been a lot of work that has gone into preparing this project from daily runs, to 3-5 weekly therapy sessions for injury prevention, to all the logistical work of planning my route and events. It has been seven long months of hard work and I could not be more eager to get started.

I want to especially thank my sister, Kelly, and my brother, Gary, for all their support with Make A Change World.

Last week, I was incredibly grateful to see that our message is beginning to gain media attention. ABC News National wrote a story last week, and a live interview on HLN for CNN for a 3 minute exclusive interview.

To those in the New York area, I would love to see you in Battery Park Friday morning as we celebrate the start of this 6 months run for the oceans.
