Short Synopsis

Ocean2Ocean is a film of adventure and hope. This documentary follows 22-year-old environmental activist, Sam Bencheghib, as he runs 3,000 miles across the United States from the Atlantic Ocean (NYC) to the Pacific Ocean (LA) to raise awareness about plastic pollution.

Sam’s journey is much more than a six-month run. In addition to the four to eight hours he spends running daily, Sam engages with communities every day along his run. From sit down interviews, school talks, to impromptu conversations on the road, Sam dives into America’s plastic addiction by addressing over 10,000 people across 13 different states about the impacts of plastic pollution. If we want to see big changes, we need to take on big challenges. Sam’s run is a metaphor to show the world that no idea is crazy enough to protect our planet.
