Week 20 Updates

@sambencheghib on December 11th, 2019 | 2,000 miles !!!✌️ It’s starting to feel like I’ve been out here forever. But looking back at the last 4 months on the road and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

After running 2,000 miles, meeting and speaking to over 4,500 people, speaking to 24 schools and meeting politicians in 10 states, it’s clear that we’re not doing enough when it comes to plastic.

Running across the American continent is a true metaphor that change needs to happen now.

So here’s to the last third of this run, with the hopes that every step I take is a step closer to a United States without plastic pollution 🌊

@sambencheghib on December 13th, 2019 | Day 140: This past week has been the hardest yet between the high altitude and the freezing cold but I finally made it over the Rocky Mountains. It was a grind but the views were so worth it 🏔

I’m now south bound towards New Mexico and the Navajo Nation. Can’t wait for some sunny days.
