One of the highlights of running through Kansas was seeing so many wind turbines. When I ran through Topeka, I was lucky enough to sit down with Lieutenant Governor, Lynn Rogers, who told me that Kansas has the most amount of wind energy of any state. About 39% of its energy needs comes from wind. A pretty impressive feat. Go Kansas!
