@sambencheghib on December 30th, 2019 | “I just felt like running.” When I came up with the crazy idea of running across America about a year ago, this was the road that I imagined myself running on. Sometimes I get stuck in a routine out here and forget to enjoy each step. But today reminded me to take it one day at a time and to enjoy every step. This was special - thanks to the 5 people that were conveniently there taking photos of the road - I’m still not sure if they believed me when I told them but oh well.

Thank you, Forrest, for inspiring us few crazies who have run across the United States 🏃‍♂️ #Ocean2Ocean

@sambencheghib on January 1st, 2020 | Never did I think I would be here, in the middle of Arizona, to celebrate the beginning of 2020.

This has been a truly incredible year, from graduating university to starting this life-changing adventure across the United States. Thank you to all those who have been a part of it. And what better way to end it than to run 196 miles this week 🏃‍♂️ A big thanks to @martinparent_ for following me until LA.

2020, bring it on! I can’t wait for what awaits @makeachange.world
